Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. The 14-day refund window
You can request a full refund of your first paid charge for any reason within 14 calendar days of that charge. Email support@tigerscribe.com and we’ll process the refund within 5 business days. The refund returns to the original payment method.
2. The anti-bill-shock guarantee
This is a contractual guarantee, not a marketing tagline. It applies to every paid plan. To invoke it, email support@tigerscribe.com with the disputed transaction within 60 days.
3. How to cancel
You can cancel a paid plan two ways:
- From inside your account — Settings → Billing → Cancel plan. One click.
- By email — write to support@tigerscribe.com from the email on the account.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access for the remainder of the period you’ve already paid for. We do not pro-rate cancellations except where required by local law.
4. Refunds after the initial window
After the 14-day window, refunds are reviewed case-by-case. We will generally refund where:
- You were billed in error or duplicated.
- A material outage materially impaired your use of the Service.
- Our charge was unauthorized (the anti-bill-shock guarantee covers this).
- A team member was added or removed in a way that resulted in a billing edge case.
5. Failed payments
If a payment fails we’ll retry every 3 days for 14 days while the account remains active. After 14 days the account is paused — no new transcription, but your data stays intact for 60 days. You can update your payment method any time to reactivate.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. We will resolve almost any issue faster than a chargeback does. Chargebacks for legitimate, completed services may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed; if the chargeback is upheld in our favor, the disputed amount may be re-charged plus a payment-processor fee.
7. Merchant of record
TigerScribe sells through Lemon Squeezy / Stripe Managed Payments as our merchant of record. They appear on your statement; they handle sales tax / VAT compliance. Refunds processed by us are issued through them and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
