How does billing work?+
TigerScribe bills monthly or annually, on the date you signed up. Annual plans save roughly 17%. We charge through Chargebee, which acts as merchant of record and handles sales tax / VAT for you.
What payment methods do you accept?+
All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA Direct Debit (EU), and PayPal in supported regions. Wire transfer is available on annual plans on request.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Cancel from inside your account in one click. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. No retention call, no cancellation friction.
What happens when I exceed my monthly minutes?+
Excess transcription queues to the start of next month at no additional cost. We never auto-charge for overage. If you need more minutes immediately, you can buy a one-time top-up from inside the app — only if you choose to.
Can I get a refund?+
We offer a 14-day full refund from your first paid charge for any reason. After that, the anti-bill-shock guarantee covers any unauthorized charges. See the refund policy for the full terms.
Do you offer non-profit, education, or open-source discounts?+
Yes — verified non-profits, accredited educational institutions, and maintainers of significant open-source projects get 50% off any paid plan. Email sales for details.
Is a BAA available for HIPAA use cases?+
BAAs are available via written request. We sign them once our subprocessor BAA chain is in place and your use case is reviewed. Contact us via the BAA topic on the contact page.
What does "voice IDs" actually count as?+
A voice ID is a private voiceprint enrolled by you for a specific speaker, with their consent. The Free plan includes 2 voice IDs; Hobby and above are unlimited. Voiceprints are deletable at any time.
